POD DACHAMI PARYŻA
Pod Dachami Paryża is an ode to my Polish roots. The name of a cult radio show in Łódź, Poland where my cousins live. It translates to "Under the Rooftops of Paris". How fitting as that was the view from my first studio in the 16th. One day I sketched it. Another 1 photographed it and years later I blended the 2 pieces.
METRO MORNING PARIS
Metro Morning Paris - another 6 am photo challenge to myself, knowing I love the architecture at Metro 6, La Motte Picquet Grenelle as Paris starts coming to life on a winter morning.
LUPIN VENDÔME
Lupin Vendôme - a 5 am morning shooting at Place Vendôme. A commission piece.
I was instructed to get a monument between La Madelaine and Place Concorde and somehow incorporate "that blue" colour. The doors by the Ritz did very nicely and the following week the Omar Sy series continued with a dramatic scene at the top of the obelisk!
